ADIP Diver 3 Stars Certification
ADIP training courses are recognized around the world and allow you to dive within the limits of your prerogatives up to 60 meters (when local laws allow it) with decompression stops.
ADIP has developed precise course materials as well as standards for each level of divers and instructors.

DIVER 3 * (rescue diver)
Level allowing to participate in underwater activities in a natural environment at depths of -40 meters maximum in complete autonomy.
Prerogatives
The level 3 diver can:
In the absence of a diving director: practice in complete autonomy scuba diving in exploration in the zone from 0 to 40 meters, within a group of 2 or 3 divers of at least equivalent level;
In the presence of a diving director responsible for the group of divers: practice in complete autonomy scuba diving in exploration in the zone from 0 to 60 meters, within a group of 2 or 3 divers of at least equivalent level , if, and only if, the diving director gives his agreement.
In addition, the level 3 diver can:
Follow the training and present yourself as a candidate for the level 4 diver's certificate (dive guide)
Follow a training course to receive the qualification "trimix diver" or "closed rebreather".
Level 3 corresponds to the PA-60 aptitude in the Sports Code (autonomous diver at 60 meters).
Conditions of application
The conditions imposed by the Sports Code are as follows:
Hold a level 2 diver's certificate
Being older than 18. (Autonomy in diving implies a shared responsibility between the members of the group which cannot therefore apply to a minor.)
Access to training is also left to the discretion of the instructor who may require, among other things, to:
Justify a certain number of dives in autonomy in the zone from 0 to 20 meters (PA20)
Justify a certain number of supervised dives in the zone from 0 to 40 meters (PE40)
More rarely, set a minimum number of dives in a natural environment.
In addition, some organizations require you to have a state or internal federation first aid diploma:
The FFESSM requires that you hold the Reactions and Interventions Facing a Diving Accident (RIFAP) certification.
The FSGT requires that you hold the Federal Certificate of Aptitude for Rescue and Nautical Assistance (CAFSAN)
Trials
The skills expected of the level 3 diver must allow him to evolve independently in deep space (from 0 to 60 meters deep), in particular:
Plan the dive: in particular, be extremely vigilant in planning the dive (de-saturation, consumption) taking into account the elements essential to these depths: cold, shortness of breath, narcosis, darkness, etc. Provide assistance in complete safety to a diver in difficulty in this zone of evolution.
To this list is added a body of theoretical knowledge relating to:
The theoretical aspect of the activity
The organization of the dive
Diving accidents
The desaturation procedures
Regulations
The underwater environment.
DIVER 3 *
Level 3 or rescue diver is a diving specialty during which you will learn rescue techniques in an aquatic environment.
This level of diving gives you the knowledge necessary to face the different distress situations encountered in scuba diving. You will learn rescue and first aid techniques to apply to a person in difficulty.
The training includes:
Level 3 training book
First aid courses (including CPR-AED)
First aid card
International diver card (PDIC, ADIP)
- theoretical courses
- swimming pool lessons
- courses in a natural environment
- educational material (books, dive table, log book, etc.)
- issuing an international car
